ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

Louisiana Tech University, College of Engineering and Science invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions in Electrical Engineering; all ranks will be considered. Teaching and research focus areas of interest are telecommunications, information technology, microelectronics and nanoelectronics, DSP, electromagnetic fields, and power. The successful candidate is expected to actively participate in multidisciplinary research efforts carried out at the Center for Entrepreneurship and Information Technology, the Institute for Micromanufacturing, the Center for Biomedical Engineering and Rehabilitation Science, or the Trenchless Technology Center. Qualifications include the ability to initiate, build and sustain a strong externally funded research program, the ability to supervise masters and doctoral students, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong teaching skills, a commitment to high quality professional service and active participation in college responsibilities. Candidates must have an earned doctorate in electrical engineering or a related field. Opportunities to provide leadership in the electrical engineering program and the college are available.
