Louisiana Tech University does not condone or authorize any kind of discrimination in the workplace. We are committed to the principle of providing the opportunity for learning, development, and employment of all qualified citizens without regard to race, sex, religion, national origin, age, disability, marital status or veteran status (see Policy 1401 regarding equal employment).

If subjected to any form of discrimination, the individual should immediately report such action to an appropriate University official (i.e. immediate supervisor, director, dean, vice president or president). That person or an appointed official will cause an immediate investigation into the allegation. If it is determined that discrimination has taken place, appropriate action will be taken. Appropriate corrective action can include but is not limited to: oral or written reprimand, suspension, reassignment of duties, termination, counseling, altered decisions, or any combination of the above.
