Faculty Control of Classrooms
WWW Posting Date: 1/15/2002
Responsible Office: Vice President for Academic Affairs
Academic misconduct at the University is determined by the faculty member under whom such misconduct occurs. The penalty for cheating and other forms of misconduct is also determined by the faculty member. This penalty may be an "F" in the class, but lesser penalties may be given at the discretion of the instructor. In the event the student is resistant to classroom discipline, the problem may be reported to the academic Unit Head and Dean for referral to the Dean of Student Life.
