Meet Chasity
Year: Junior
Major: Marketing
Hometown: West Monroe, Louisiana
Activities: I am a Tech cheerleader (Co-Ed), I am in Phi Mu Sorority and I am also involved in the Union Board.
Career Goals: I want to be a Pharmaceutical Rep. However, my ultimate goal is to own my own Boutique.
Why I Chose Tech: Two reasons: My boyfriend was attending Tech and I love the quarter system.
Little Known Fact: My friends tell me that I am funny and that I make them laugh.

Major: Sociology
Hometown: Bessemer, Alabama
Activities: I love to fish and hunt when I get a chance, but football takes up most of my time.
Career Goals: I want to play in the NFL as well as own a business.
Why I Chose Tech: I wanted to come to a school that was known for throwing the football and having great passing quarterbacks.
Little Known Fact:I sleep whenever I get the chance which doesn’t seem to be too often.

Activities: BCM Freshman Minister, Parables Drama Team, FBC Entry Point.
Career Goals: I plan on doing full-time Mission Work.
Why I Chose Tech: Because to me Tech gives me a lot more than an education!! It has given me things to do, goals to reach and most importantly the very best friends that I could ever imagine.
Little Known Fact: I just spent two months backpacking in the Philippines!!

Activities: Sigma Alpha Epsilon Eminent Correspondent and Eminent Herald Inter-Fraternity Council Public Relations Chair Student Government Administration Liberal Arts Senator.
Career Goals: To become a successful family man, architect and possibly a local politician.
Why I Chose Tech: I came to visit LA Tech while I was in high school and I truly felt like I belonged here. Rarely are you able to visit a place and immediately feel at home but that’s exactly what happened when I visited LA Tech.
Little Known Fact: I survived a car accident on campus resulting in emergency and possible death. I am a blessed survivor.

Year: Junior
Major: Spanish
Hometown: Summerfield, Louisiana
Activities: I like basketball, movies, and hanging out with my friends.
Career Goals: I intend to move to Texas after graduation where I will either teach or interpret. I’d prefer to interpret.
Why I Chose Tech: I chose Tech because it is a good school and in the eyes of most businesses, Tech stands well ranked. Also, it allowed me to be closer to my family. Seeing as how I have two younger brothers, I have to look out for them.
Little Known Fact: Studying always pays off. Sometimes classes are tough but that’s life.

Activities: Volleyball.
Career Goals: Take my degree in Special Education and work with people with special needs. I haven't decided if I want to go in the classroom direction or explore other options.
Why I Chose Tech: One of the main reasons in my decision was volleyball, but also when I came to visit, Tech fit for me. It felt right.
Little Known Fact: I actually enjoy drawing, the only problem is finding the time.

Activities: Freshman Minister at the BCM.
Career Goals: Working for a large firm as a Public Relations director. St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital is my dream.
Why I Chose Tech: There are many reasons why I chose Tech. First of all, it’s not too close or too far away from home (Shreveport). Second I knew they had incredible campus ministries and I really wanted to get plugged in there. Third, I really felt like God had prepared a place for me to be used for his purposes at Louisiana Tech.
Little Known Fact: I am an only child.
