We understand that you are not new to college, but you are new to the Louisiana Tech University campus. For over 30 years, Louisiana Tech Orientation has helped make the transition to Tech easier. Join other transfer students in an informal seminar to learn more about Louisiana Tech from the transfer perspective. You can also meet with academic advisors and register for Fall classes. Transfer Student Orientation helps pave the way to become part for the Tech family

Choose from two Transfer Student Orientation sessions:

Check-in between 9 and 9:30 a.m. The day concludes at 2:30 p.m. You should plan to attend the Transfer Orientation Session that is most convenient for your schedule.
TRANSCRIPTS AND CATALOGS
You need to bring a transcript and a catalog from each college you previously attended. Your Louisiana Tech advisor can be more helpful in planning your fall schedule of classes if you bring transcripts and catalogs to Transfer Student Orientation.
