Personal Visit

Tech has prospered from its humble 20-acre beginning to a busy 255-acre main campus with over 10,000 students. Centennial Plaza boasts a lovely new belltower and the alumni walkway made of over 72,000 engraved bricks representing all Tech graduates.

We invite you and your family to take a personal tour with us. Here in the Office of Admissions, we understand how important your college decision making process is, and we want to show you what Louisiana Tech University has to offer.

Your visit will begin with an introduction by your admissions counselor and then you will partake in a student led campus tour. This hour-long tour of the campus, student center, and dormitories will give you an opportunity to share stories with a member of our volunteer Student Recruiter team. This is your time to get a true student's perspective of college life at Louisiana Tech, so do not hesitate to ask them any questions. You will become a part of the breathtaking scenery and peaceful atmosphere that can only be found in the rolling hills of North Louisiana.

Your next stop will be with the department visit of your choice. You will have an opportunity to meet with a professor or administrator in your field of study to get answers to all of your major specific questions. After all, you are here to get an education.

Finally, your admissions counselor will review your visit, and give you all the necessary information on applying and being accepted to the University. This will also include the cost of attending and upcoming dates and deadlines.

Wow! What a visit we have planned for you, so what are you waiting for?

Meet Your Student Tour Guide

Look at what some students have said about our visits:

Rachel from New Orleans - "The campus was beautiful and the people were so friendly.  I see myself at La Tech next year."

Mallory from Bossier City - "I really enjoyed the tour of the campus, and I hope to be a future Tech Student."

Corey from Mississippi - "I absolutely loved the size of the campus; not extremely small, but not too large either.  The buildings all seemed to be in great shape and everyone I met was enormously helpful and kind."

Jacob from Abita Springs - "I was extremely impressed with the school and the whole aviation program."
