Xi Sigma Phi Initiation Ceremony and BanquetThe 2008 Xi Sigma Phi Initiation Ceremony and Banquet were held on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at Lomax Hall. Eleven students were initiated. The ceremony concluded with a banquet which included a 95 pound pig which was roasted by the LA Tech Meats Lab. In attendance were College of Applied and Natural Science Dean, Dr. James Liberatos, alumni, parents of students, School of Forestry faculty and staff, and initiates. The winner of the plaque contest was Dustin Ray Haymon a junior Forestry student from Anacoco, LA. Dustin won a gag gift and a gift certificate to a local restaurant.
