In Wildlife of Southern Forests the authors trace the history of southern forests and associated wildlife, detail the biology and habitat requirements of species and communities, and offer practical management guidelines. The book provides an introduction, overview, and synthesis of information for the hundreds species of vertebrate wildlife. The book features wildlife art, more than 200 black-and-white and 31 color photographs; and more than 1,500 technical references.
