Research interests: Forest health, particularly with respect to insects and pathogens in southern United States forest ecosystems. Emphasis is on maintaining healthy productive forests using management that is economically, environmentally and socially acceptable.
Assistant Professor and Extension Forestry Specialist in the Department of Forestry, Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma 74078. April 1998 – November 2003.
Responsible for forestry educational outreach to a variety of Oklahoma stakeholders. Programs included Oklahoma Master Woodland Owner, other private landowner outreach, continuing education programs for forestry professionals, programs for producers of wood and forest products, and youth programs such as 4-H Forestry competitions.
