Elementary Division - December 6, 2007
All activities will be held in The Tonk on the main floor of the Student Center
  • 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM
    • Set up projects
  • 9:00 AM - 9:45 AM
    • Planetarium Show (please have projects set up by 8:45)
  • 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
    • Judging (fair participants will be interviewed by our judges)
  • 11:30 - 12:30
    • Lunch (on your own)
  • 12:30 - 1:30
    • Awards Ceremony 
Junior Division - March 6, 2008
All activities will be held in The Tonk on the main floor of the Student Center
  • 7:30 AM - 9:45 AM

    • Set up projects
  • 8:45 AM - 9:45 AM

    • Louisiana Tech Planetarium show or tour of science and engineering laboratories.  Seating for the planetarium show is limited to 125.  Please indicate on entry form number attending planetarium show.  If participating in either the planetarium show or tour of science and engineering laboratories, please have projects set up by 8:30 AM.

    10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

    • Judging of projects.  Participants will be interviewed by our judges.

    12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

    • Judging of overall winners.  First place winners from each category will be judged by our overall judges.

    12:00 PM - 1:15 PM

    • Lunch (on your own)

    1:15 PM - 1:45 PM

    • Ice cream social

    1:45 PM - 2:30 PM

  • Awards Ceremony

    SENIOR DIVISION - MARCH 7, 2008

    All activities will take place in The Tonk on the main floor of the Student Center

    • 7:30 AM - 9:15 AM
      • Set up projects
    • 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM
      • Judging of projects.  Participants will be judged by our judges.
    • 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM
      • Judging of overall winners.  First place winners will be judged by our overall judges.

      • Click HERE for copies of Form 1A, 1B, Abstract, and other forms.

        Forms 1, 1A (individual or team), 1B, and an abstract are REQUIRED for all JUNIOR and SENIOR division projects. These forms should be placed in a blank folder (no names) in front of the project on the day of the fair. DO NOT SEND THESE FORMS TO THE FAIR DIRECTOR!!!

        If a junior or senior division project involves human subjects (including surveys), non-human vertebrate animals, pathogenic agents, controlled substances, recombinant DNA, human or non-human vertebrate animal tissue or is conducted in a registered research institution (e.g. university laboratory, medical center, etc.) or industrial setting, additional forms are required.
