Many students complete part of their flight training during the summer quarter when flight weather is optimum for cross country flights. The flight experience is accumulated primarily in the Cessna 172. A Cessna 172RG is utilized for 10 hours of complex aircraft training. A Class II medical certificate is required for commercial operations, but is not needed for training.
