Over time, the BARC will develop, implement, and provide a wide variety of services, based on accessed needs, which may include the following:
- Tutoring and group help sessions in subjects, in addition to maths, with highest percentages of D, F, W grades.
- Supplemental Instruction(SI) - a student who has previously taken a class and made an A or B is employed to sit in on the class with enrolled students and conduct formal review sessions after each class meeting.
- Writing assistance for students.
- Advising opportunities for undeclared or exploratory students, including an extensive referral system for career and personal counselling.
- Supplemental advising for undergraduate students.
- Organization and oversight of University Seminar (a college success course for first-time freshmen).
- Referral program for students needing additional assistance, such as counselling, career decision making etc.
- Referral to various student organizations.
- Computer lab and study space for students.
- Space for student meetings and collaboration (including equipment to practice presentations).
- Wireless network space.
