On-Campus Interviews

Students who are within a year of graduation and alumni of Louisiana Tech University are eligible to participate in the on-campus interviewing program. Several companies also offer career-related summer employment and internship opportunities to freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. Schedules for interview opportunities are available in the Career Center and on the TechJobWeb, which is an online system for accessing on-campus interview schedules and job listings.

Career Library

The Career Library, located in Keeny Hall 337, contains directories, books, company literature, reference materials, handouts, and videos which may be helpful in career education, career planning, research, and job search activities. Use of the Library is available to students who are currently pursuing a degree from Louisiana Tech University or are Louisiana Tech University alumni. Most videos and printed materials in the Library are restricted to in-house use. Materials which are available for check-out are marked accordingly. Check-out is limited to a two-day period. Faculty may check out materials for a one-week period.

Attendance is open to all students who are enrolled at Louisiana Tech and alumni.

Business Dining Etiquette Seminars are offered quarterly. Reservations are open to Louisiana Tech students who are interested in learning about proper dining and business etiquette to prepare for interviewing and professional entertaining. A fee of $12.00 is required by the Louisiana Tech Food Service for the cost of the meal. No fee is charged for the seminar. Recommended dress is coat and tie for men and dresses for ladies.
