1.        On your web-browser type blackboard.latech.edu. Then hit the Go button on your browser. This will take you to the Blackboard sign-in page for Louisiana Tech. You can also go to this page by going to the homepage (www.latech.edu) for Louisiana Tech. At the home page under Current students the first option is Blackboard, if you click on that it will take you to the same page as above.

2.        Click on the login button.

3.        Your username is the same as the first part of your TECH email address. Example: John Q. Public's TECH email address is jqp789@latech.edu then your Bb username is jqp789. Your Bb password is your 8 digit CWID number.

4.        Successfully logging into Bb takes you to the "My Blackboard" page. You will see "Welcome, (your name) "at the top of the page. On the right side under "Courses" will be the list of your classes.

5.        Remember, not all instructors choose to use Bb. Please check with your professor to verify that they are using Bb for your course.

6.        All requests for course enrollments must originate with the instructor.
