Supplies (page 2 of 2):

5. Access to a printer.

Now here is where things get really flexible. If you have a deskjet printer that's GREAT! Only problem is that most "personal use" deskjets cannot print on paper beyond legal size (8 1/2 x 14). That means you can't print the big 12 x 12 layouts. Heck, you can't even print 8 x 8 layouts depending on the type of printer you've got.

You've got options though. If you prefer the 12 x 12 layouts you can order prints relatively inexpensive (much less than owning that size printer!) from online sources (see Resources) OR if you select the 8 x 8 layout size you can print those at WalMart as 8 x 10's for less than $2 a print (a little more for 1 hour processing). WalMart also has self-service printers that you can stick your USB memory stick in and print while you stand there for less than $5 a sheet. Not too bad for NO WAITING!

6. Memory albums (your choice of size).

7. Refill pages (your choice of size). Beware of mixing brands tho! The holes don't always line up even tho the pocket size is the same.

8. Stickers, paint, photos, Mod Podge ... miscellaneous "crafty" things to decorate the cover of your "plain" memory book.

Check out some of the sample supplies I've brought along.

Now that you've got some pictures and selected some software you're ready to start laying out pages!
