Either from a digital camera, a developing CD (usually offered as an option at your photo developing "store"), or by scanning. 2. Once you've got your pictures there's only one major thing left - software. You can select from a multitude of software packages (see Scrapbooking Software) available in a wide variety of costs. I would advise that you try several different "demo" packages before you invest in your software. Although Photoshop is the most powerful, it is also the most expensive and COMPLICATED. I highly recommend Photoshop Elements. It is less than $100 and contains a very large subset of the tools in Photoshop. I do have to add a few more little supply items here ... none are required, but I have found them all invaluable tools with my scrapping projects. 3. A USB memory stick. If you're in a rush, you can load your layouts (flattened of course!) onto your stick and run up to WalMart and print them out while you're standing there! Couldn't be faster! 4. A paper cutter/trimmer. I picked up one at WalMart for $9.99. Great for trimming off the excess paper for a quick little "brag book" or other smaller sized scrapbooks. |
