CPR & AED Certification

American Heart Association Heartsaver® CPR AED is an instructor-led course that teaches adult CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking on an adult. This course teaches skills which allows instructors to observe the students while practicing, provide feedback and guide the students’ learning of skills. This course is intended for anyone, but targets those healthcare professionals with medical training who need the course certification card in CPR and AED to meet job, regulatory or other requirements. Upon successful demonstration of skills assessment you will receive a Heartsaver CPR AED course certification card.

NRA Concealed Carry

This is an NRA Course. The National Rifle Association (NRA) has been the proven leader in firearms training since 1871. This NRA course teaches the basic knowledge, skills and attitude for owning and operating a pistol safely. This eight-hour course includes both classroom and range time learning to shoot a revolver or semi-automatic pistol.

This course has been designed for the beginner shooter. However, it can also be used as an in depth refresher course for persons who already pose some pistol skills. It is a great course to prepare you to successfully complete the Louisiana Concealed Handgun Application.

Students Will Learn:

NRA's rules for safe gun handling, Applicable Louisiana Law, Pistol parts and operation, Ammunition, Shooting fundamentals, Range rules, Shooting from the bench rest position, Shooting from the two-handed standing position, Cleaning the pistol; and Continued opportunities for skill development.

Students Will Receive:
The "Louisiana State Police Laws and Administrative" handout. Students will take a "Basics of Pistol Shooting" student examination, and will be awarded an NRA course completion certificate upon successful completion.

NRA Concealed Carry Renewal

This is an NRA Course. The National Rifle Association (NRA) has been the proven leader in firearms training since 1871. Every other time you apply for your concealed carry permit you'll need a certificate saying you've been updated on the laws and been the range with a certified instructor. We offer re-certification with a two hour class which includes range time and a review of the laws.

Students will be awarded an NRA course completion certificate upon successful completion.

Greenbelt Six Sigma Certification

Six Sigma is a management strategy widely used today by many organizations from huge corporations such as Motorola, General Electric to medium and small companies to improve the quality of products and services. Since its introduction in the late 80's, Six Sigma has proven to be the most effective strategy in helping businesses save operational costs while increasing customer satisfaction. In general, there are three levels of Six Sigma certification: Green Belt, Black Belt, and Master Black Belt, each are a prerequisite for the next. This course aims at presenting the Six Sigma approach, namely the DMAIC (Define, measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) with emphases on management responsibilities and problem-solving methodologies so that the participant can become a Green Belt at the end of this course. Besides learning the fundamental theories of Six Sigma, the participant will practice data analysis and problem-solving skills by utilizing MiniTab® statistical analysis software.

Active Shooter

Our Active Shooter Training Course is for eight hours. The course has been created to address the threat of active shooter or shooters and other violent critical incidents as well. All Law Enforcement, Tactical Officers, Campus Police, and Private Security will learn how to effectively deploy in rapid and immediate deployment formations and alone only if needed to address the threat of an active aggressor or aggressors. The Active Shooter Response time and tactics are a hot topic among most law enforcement agencies. Our trainers have the experience and have been there so that they can prepare your staff for all situations. Our Women’s Beginning Handgun Safety course is an eight hour course that has proven to be effective in the training of women at all levels of experience and understanding of their firearms. Nightstick Tactical Use

Our Nightstick Tactical training program is an eight hour course designed for public and private safety officers who deal with combative, conflictive, or potentially violent persons in the performance of their duty. This training course is available for corporate security, federal, state and local law enforcement organizations, contract security companies, academic or healthcare law-enforcement and security, corrections, military police, probation and parole, bail enforcement, and executive protection. Our Self Defense for Women course is an eight hour course that covers critical thinking about self-defense strategies, how to be confident & assertive, effective and powerful communication skills, and simple to use and easy-to-remember physical techniques. Our instructors will respect and respond to your fears and concerns. Our instruction is based on a belief that women can act effectively, competently, decisively, and take action to protect themselves accordingly. Our course is based on using your head in attack situations and not your muscle. Taking our self-defense class is one of the most positive steps a woman can take to protect herself when the time presents itself.
