As a division of the Office of Academic Affairs, the mission of the Center for Instructional Technology (CIT) is to support and train faculty in the use of academic technologies that improve teaching and learning.  In addition to being the campus resource for the use of the campus course or learning management systems, CIT also develops state-of-the-art QuickMedia and SmartClassroom designs, as well as provides training in the use of classroom technologies.  As the campus advocate and resource for the use of instructional technology, CIT achieves its mission by demonstrating, evaluating and introducing educational technologies that advance teaching, learning and scholarship at the University.
