There are nearly 100 Smart and Quick Classrooms across four of Louisiana Tech University's campuses. These enhanced facilities include auditoriums, classrooms, computer labs, compressed video classrooms, conference rooms and various labs. Enhanced technology classrooms and facilities are designed by the CIT SmartClassroom Project Team, which is composed of IT and technical support staff, as well as faculty, from across the University.
Smart technology systems can be challenging for the first-time user. Instructors and other users needing Smart and Quick Classroom training are encouraged to contact CIT to schedule a training session to learn about the use of the instructional technology and equipment. Training modules and a Quick Start Guide in pdf is available on this website.
One of our faculty training goals is for the technology in Smart and Quick Classrooms to be a toolbox of useful instructional tools for instructors and not an impediment.
Contact the Center for Instructional Technology at email@example.com to schedule an individual or group training session.
Please schedule a training session in advance. Don't wait until you are in the classroom with your class waiting.
