To help faculty make the most of Moodle, CIT has created a series of video tutorials demonstrating how to use the main functions of the system.

MOODLE COURSE HOMEPAGE

This tutorial demonstrates how to access your course, provides an overview for the layout of a course, shows how to turn editing on and off, and how to view your course as students will see it.

NEWS FORUM

The News Forum is a default tool for communicating important announcements and course reminders.  Messages are posted in the course and sent by email to your students.

 

UPLOAD PROFILE PICTURE

Uploading your picture into the User Profile enables the system to use your picture in various places to represent you.  Your picture will be displayed in forums, the participant list and in the grade list.

This tutorial demonstrates how to use blocks to customize your course page.

This tutorial demonstrates how to create the Advanced Uploading of Files assignment to allow students to upload more than one file.
