The videos below will demonstrate how to use the main functions of Moodle. They will give a general overview of the most common features of Moodle. For information regarding specific features found in Moodle, refer to the CIT’s Helpful Links and the Moodle Tip Archive.
General Overview – This Moodle video will give a general overview of the Moodle site.
Course Settings – This Moodle video will give a general course overview and demonstrate how to edit a Moodle course. [NOTE: DO NOT CHANGE ANY SETTINGS UNDER THE “General” TAB. Changing these items will create problems within your course. It is advised that you ONLY use the ‘Description’, ‘Course Format’, and ‘Groups’ tab in your course. Changing any other features can create problems in your course page. If you have questions concerning other tabs/features under ‘Course Settings’, contact the CIT.]
Editing Course Sections – This Moodle video demonstrates how to edit a section within a course.
Activity Chooser – This video will demonstrate how to add different activities/resources in Moodle. [NOTE: This video may include some features that LA Tech Moodle does not, while LA Tech Moodle may include some features that this video does not.]
Assignments – This Moodle video demonstrates how to create and use the Assignment activity.
Quizzes – This Moodle video demonstrates how to create a quiz. It will also address new quiz features found in Moodle 3.0.
