Activities of Daily Living
Activities of Daily Living (ADL) are a vital part of each person's life. For people with disabilities, activities such as eating, dressing, personal hygiene, housekeeping tasks and control of the environment can be difficult. The Center has an ADL assessment facility, where the person's current level of activities of daily living functioning is evaluated. Adaptive living equipment is then prescribed to assist the person to become more independent in his/her home environment.
