Our graduates continue to be in high demand with approximately 150 companies recruiting our graduates at the most recent October 2008 campus career fair.

In addition, Louisiana Tech University has outstanding graduate programs and research programs in key focal areas, such as Micro/Nanotechnology, Cyber Security, Biotechnology, Trenchless Technology, and Applied Physics. Louisiana Tech's Research Park and Enterprise Campus will be located near the main engineering buildings and provide further support in these areas.

What is our focus in the college this year?

Each year, the College of Engineering and Science focuses on a particular theme of national importance for our students. This year's theme is based on the National Academy of Engineering's Grand Challenges. Prior themes have included The World is Flat, The Engineer of 2020, and CyberSecurity.
