Physics : Mission Statement

The primary aim of the physics program is to prepare the student for graduate work in physics. Successful completion of advanced courses in physics will prepare the graduate for work in industry or government laboratories.

The curriculum is designed to provide the student with extensive exposure to the fundamental principles of physics and an introduction to the basic methods of physics research.
