Butros Aukar Memorial Scholarship

  • Must be a continuing freshmen, sophomore, junior or senior mechanical or industrial engineering major.
  • Requires: GPA: 3.0
  • Approximately 1 award for $300-500 per academic year is available.
  • Student must remain full-time and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a quarterly basis. (one quarter probationary period.)

Charlie Earl Endowed Scholarship

  • Must be a junior or senior mechanical engineering major.
  • Requires: GPA: 2.5
  • Priority is given to married students.
  • Approximately 0-1 award for $1,000-$2,000 per academic year is available.
  • Student must remain full-time and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a quarterly basis (one quarter probationary period).

Chevron Scholarship

  • Must be a junior or senior mechanical engineering major.
  • Requires: GPA: 3.0
  • Additional requirements taken into consideration: Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Approximately 2 awards for $1,000 per academic year are available.
  • Students must remain full-time and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a quarterly basis (one quarter probationary period).

Gatewood Endowed Scholarship

Kaiser Aluminum Scholarship

  • Must be a continuing freshman, sophomore, junior or senior mechanical engineering major with financial need.

  • Student must be a minority. Women majoring in Mechanical Engineering and students with good academic standing are also taken into consideration.
  • Approximately 6 awards for $750-1,000 per academic year are available.
  • Student must remain full-time and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a quarterly basis (one quarter probationary period).

Oliver Woodrow Fisher Memorial Scholarship

  • Must be a continuing freshman, sophomore, junior or senior mechanical engineering major.
  • Requires: GPA: 3.0
  • Additional requirements taken into consideration: Student must be at Louisiana Tech at least two quarters and be a U.S. citizen.
  • Approximately 2-3 awards for $500-750 per academic year are available.
  • Student must remain full-time and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a quarterly basis (one quarter probationary period).
  • Application Deadline: April 1st
  • Award Decision is Made By: May 31st

Whetstone Scholarship

  • Must be a sophomore, junior or senior mechanical engineering major.
  • Requires: GPA: 3.0
  • Additional requirements taken into consideration: Recipient must have accumulated at least 30 hours of credit with a 3.0 GPA. Must have good leadership qualities and a bright outlook on the future. The total of all scholarships received by one individual must not exceed the total cost of attendance.
  • Approximately 1-2 awards for $900 -1,000 per academic year are available.
  • Student must remain full-time and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a quarterly basis (one quarter probationary period).
  • Application Deadline: April 1st
  • Award Decision is Made By: May 31st

William H. Allen, Jr. and Ron E. Stokes Scholarship

  • Provided in their honor by the Lynn and Louis Brill Endowed Scholarship Fund.
  • Preference shall be given to students from Caddo Parish.
  • The selection will be made by a committee.
  • Application deadline: Mid March
  • Award decision: April
  • Applications ae available in Bogard Hall 217 during the last two weeks of winter quarter.
