The Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Leadership is responsible for teacher education programs at Louisiana Tech. All of its programs have been approved by the Louisiana Department of Education, the Louisiana Board of Regents, and the National Counsel for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).

The Department of Kinesiology provides undergraduate and Masters degrees in the area of health and fitness. It is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association and is a charter member of the American Kinesiology Association.

The Department of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences offers numerous psychology programs including degrees in counseling and industrial and organizational psychology. The department is accredited by the American Psychological Association.
