This program is intended for currently certified teachers who are interested in the instruction of adult learners. The program consists of 12 semester hours of instruction that have been aligned with the Louisiana Department of Education requirements for Adult Education certification. Three hours of practicum are included in this program.

This program is intended for teachers currently possessing certification who are interested in teaching English as a Second Language. Such teachers may work with both children and adults, teaching them English as a non-native language. The program consists of 12 semester hours of instruction that have been aligned with the Louisiana Department of Education requirements for English as a Second Language certification. Practicum is not required for this program.

This program is intended for teachers currently possessing valid teaching certification who are interested in becoming certified as a librarian. This program is open to individuals both with and without experience working in a library. The program consists of 18 semester hours of instruction that have been aligned with the Louisiana Department of Education requirements for Library Science certification. Three semester hours of practicum are required for individuals not having three or more years of experience as a school librarian.
