This program is intended for currently certified teachers holding a Master's in Education who are interested in certification in teaching adults. Curriculum includes an introduction to adult education, reading, and other strategies. Requires 15 total credit hours.

This program is intended for currently certified teachers who are interested in certification in the area of computer literacy. Curriculum includes basic computer literacy skills as well as the practical use of computing technology in the classroom. Requires 15 total credit hours.

This program is intended for currently certified teachers who are interested in certification in early intervention. Curriculum includes foundations of early intervention, communication with young children, and the assessment and evaluation of disabled and at-risk children. Requires 18 total credit hours.

This program is intended for Type B, Level 2, or higher certification teachers who wish to facilitate the adoption and integration of technology in educational environments. Curriculum includes computer applications in the classroom, educational telecommunications, multimedia, and technology and literacy. Requires 15 total credit hours.

This program is intended for certified teachers having at least three years of experience in their licensed/certified field and a master's degree in education. Curriculum includes methods of diagnosing and remediating reading issues. Requires 15 total credit hours.

This program is intended for certified teachers desiring to work in a school library. Curriculum includes the selection of library materials and effective library management and administration. Requires 18 total credit hours, including practicum.

This program is intended for early childhood, elementary, or early intervention certified teachers desiring to work with elementary education level children with special educational needs. Curriculum includes behavior management, educational strategies, and the assessment and evaluation of students with mild/moderate disabilities. Requires 18 total credit hours, and passing scores for PRAXIS Education of Exceptional Students: Core Content Knowledge (0353) and Education of Exceptional Students: Mild to Moderate Disabilities (0542).

This program is intended for secondary education certified teachers desiring to work with students having special educational needs. Curriculum includes behavior management, educational strategies, assessment and evaluation of students with mild/moderate disabilities, and transition to vocational life. Requires 18 total credit hours, and passing scores for PRAXIS Education of Exceptional Students: Core Content Knowledge (0353) and Education of Exceptional Students: Mild to Moderate Disabilities (0542).

This program is intended for Type B, Level 2, or higher certification teachers who wish to become leaders within their own schools by assisting in curriculum development, facilitating professional development, and spearheading technology integration. Curriculum includes technology integration, curriculum development and assessment, and professional development. Requires 15 total credit hours.

This program is intended for certified teachers who wish to instruct visually impaired and blind students. Curriculum includes braille reading, adaptive technology for the visually impaired, educational strategies, and orientation and mobility. Requires 24 total credit hours, including practicum, as well as achieving a passing score for PRAXIS Education of Exceptional Children: Core Content Knowledge (0353), and demonstrate an oral braille reading speed of 70 wpm or successful completion of the National Certification of Literary Braille competency exam.
