Welcome to the Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Leadership! Our faculty and staff are dedicated, qualified, caring professionals committed to serving our students. We are extremely proud of the quality and wide selection of the programs we provide. We offer both traditional and alternate teacher preparation programs with a wide selection of content areas and grade levels from which to choose. Graduate program offerings include those at the master's level leading to advanced certification in curriculum and instruction and educational leadership as well as two doctoral level programs leading to an Ed.D. We strive to create an inclusive, nurturing, and challenging academic environment for our candidates through modeling effective teaching methods, being actively involved in scholarly research, providing superior advising services, and cultivating strong connections with our professional development schools and school partners. We believe that we make a difference and are gratified to know that our graduates are highly valued in the PK-12 and higher education professional communities.
