Directed Research Information

All graduate students in the Kinesiology M.S. program are required to complete KINE 535 - Directed Research (or KINE 551 Thesis). In this course, you will be required to work under the supervision of a faculty member on an independent research project.

Pre-Enrollment Guidelines

Before enrolling in KINE 535 you must:

  1. Choose and meet with a faculty mentor at least one quarter prior to your anticipated enrollment in KINE 535.
  2. Complete your portion of the Research Agreement Form with a short abstract of your proposed research project.
  3. Have your Research Agreement Form approved by your Faculty Mentor, the Graduate Coordinator, and the Department Chair.
