Project Team Leadership PROGRAM ATTRIBUTES In today's highly competitive, resource-scarce, internet-time based world, project management continues to be an important ingredient to organizational success. To meet the growing need of organizations, Louisiana Tech now offers an online degree in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Project Team Leadership. This interdisciplinary degree is a 120-hour program designed to help students move easily into a leadership role. The degree consists of 30 hours of courses offered jointly by faculty at the nine universities and 30 hours of concentration and elective courses offered by Louisiana Tech. The online platform for the 30 hours of joint courses will be seamless and will be offered in five, eight-week terms each year. All other courses will be offered on Louisiana Tech's regular course schedule. To enter the program, students must be at least 25 years old and have completed 60 hours of college credit including general education courses. However, students with less than 60 hours will have opportunities to earn credit online or through prior learning assessment that gauges skills learned on the job. SCHOOL OVERVIEW "At Tech, you'll belong. Tech is family." That's how one graduate described the Louisiana Tech experience. With its reputation for offering a private-college atmosphere at a public-university price, Tech is one place where students are always remembered, from the faculty who take personal pride in student achievements to the bricks in the alumni walkway that bear graduates' names.Louisiana Tech University President Dr. Dan Reneau: "This collaborative degree provides students with a unique opportunity to capitalize on the strengths and synergies of the UL System's member institutions. Louisiana Tech looks forward to serving these students and producing graduates who will effectively lead organizations throughout our state and nation." |
