The following fees generally apply to Counseling Psychology doctoral students, and may be calculated using the current rates found at the link above: Tuition/Out-of-State Tuition, Technology Enhancement Fee, Energy Surcharge, and the Education Fee. A typical course-load is 10 credit hours per quarter.

Financial assistance

Counseling Psychology doctoral students at Louisiana Tech may be eligible for the following financial assistance offerings:
  • College of Education Graduate Assistantships: $10,000 per year stiend + out-of-state tuition.
  • University of Louisiana System Counseling Psychology Fellowship: $12,000 per year stipend + Full Tuition Waiver + $1,200 Textbook Allowance + $1,400 Travel Allowance.
  • Minority Fellowship: $12,000 per year stipend.
  • Board of Regents/SREB Doctoral Diversity Fellowship: $20,000 per year stipend + $5,000 SREB membership and travel to annual meeting + Full tuition waiver.
