Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program Requirements

Students in the program must complete a total of 60 credit hours of coursework, and maintain an up-to-date plan of study on file with the College of Education's Office of Graduate Studies. Part of the course work includes a 100 clock-hour practicum and a 600 clock-hour internship in a mental health setting. Students are required to pass their comprehensive examination prior to enrolling in practicum.

During the first quarter at Louisiana Tech, Clinical Mental Health Counseling students must attend mandatory orientation.
