Program Evaluation

In meeting the guidelines for CACREP accreditation, the Counseling and Guidance Master of Arts Program at Louisiana Tech University is required to both conduct a systematic, annual evaluation of the Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) and School Counseling (SC) Concentrations for the purpose of program improvement and publish the findings of that evaluation.

This process examines a number of components, such as:

• Counseling and Guidance Program curricular review
• Counseling and Guidance Advisory Board evaluation and feedback
• Counselor Preparation Comprehensive Examination (CPCE) results
• Practicum and Internship supervisor evaluations
• Student Exit Surveys
• Alumni Surveys
• Employer Surveys
