Program Evaluation
In meeting the guidelines for CACREP accreditation, the Counseling and Guidance Master of Arts Program at Louisiana Tech University is required to both conduct a systematic, annual evaluation of the Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) and School Counseling (SC) Concentrations for the purpose of program improvement and publish the findings of that evaluation.
This process examines a number of components, such as:
- Counseling and Guidance Program curricular review
- Counseling and Guidance Advisory Board evaluation and feedback
- Counselor Preparation Comprehensive Examination (CPCE) results
- Practicum and Internship supervisor evaluations
- Student Exit Surveys
- Alumni Surveys
- Employer Surveys
