Guidelines for Clinical On-Site Supervisors
Welcome to Louisiana Tech University. These are exciting times for Louisiana Tech University’s Counseling and Guidance Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling master’s programs. We thank you for desiring to be a part of our students' clinical experience as we change and grow to become more responsive to the needs of a diverse and changing population. We are grateful for the important part you play in our student’s careers.
For consideration as a site supervisor, you must meet the following basic requirements:
- A minimum of a master’s degree in counseling or a closely related field and appropriate certifications and/or licenses. All clinical mental health counseling students are required to be licensed professional counselor (e.g. LPC, LMFT, LAC, LCSW).
- A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience
- Knowledge of the program’s expectations, requirements, and evaluation procedures for students.
