Bio

Dr. Sheets received his Ph.D. in Psychology with an emphasis in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is currently an associate professor and department head at Louisiana Tech University. He teaches graduate courses in I/O Psychology, Training and Development, Personnel Psychology and Statistics. He has worked on consulting and test development projects with Assess Systems, Bramer Engineering, Midwest Wireless, ePredicts (now SHL), Sverdrup Technologies, Franke Industries and other companies. Dr. Sheets specializes in the areas of employee selection, organizational metrics, and technology in the workplace.

Dr. Desselles serves as Director of AROS Consulting. She holds a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Louisiana State University. She recently returned to academics and is currently an assistant professor, teaching I/O psychology graduate courses in personnel psychology, research design, and statistics. Dr. Desselles has devoted her career to demystifying why people do what they do. Starting from the premise posited by reversal theory that people are essentially paradoxical beings, her consulting work has helped organizations tap into both the rational and emotional factors that underlie behavior. Recent clients include CenturyLink, Georgetown University, Third Way, HSBC, and MillerCoors. Her research area is the application of reversal theory to leadership, team effectiveness, and the management of change.

Dr. Mahoney received his Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational from the University of Akron. He is currently an assistant professor of psychology at Louisiana Tech University. He teaches I/O psychology graduate courses in leadership, training and development, and performance management. He has published in a variety of journals including Journal of Vocational Behavior, Journal of Occupational Health Psychology and Personality and Individual Differences. Dr. Mahoney's research interests include emotions at work, decision-making, and the history of psychology and management.

Dr. Igou received his master’s degree and Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Auburn University. He is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences at Louisiana Tech University. He teaches graduate courses in Personnel Psychology, Research Design, Statistics, Psychometrics, and Leadership and Management. He has worked as a psychometrician for the State of Wisconsin, Civil Service Administrator for the City of Orlando, and as a Research Specialist and Consultant for the Auburn University at Montgomery Center for Business and Economic Development. Dr. Igou specializes in the areas of test development, psychometrics, research design, statistics, and personnel legal issues.
