Federal Stafford Loan Entrance Interview

Once you've accepted a Federal Stafford loan, you must complete loan entrance counseling and learn about the terms and conditions of your loans. 

Louisiana Tech University students who are borrowing for the academic year will need to complete an Stafford Loan Entrance Counseling if this includes:

  • New students who have never participated in a federal loan program
  • Transfer students who have participated in a federal loan program at another school
The Entrance Counseling must be completed before the loan will be sent to the Department of Education for processing.
