How do I log in to MY AID?
To log in to your account, go to www.latech.edu/finaid and click on MY AID. Then you will follow these steps:

How do I get my Esign number?
When you register on My Aid for the first time your Esign number will be shown with your access code before you login. If you completed the Louisiana Tech Financial Aid Data Form in paper version, then you will receive an email with your Esign number. ** Esign numbers are case sensitive and usually are one letter and 5 digits
What is my Access Code and how do I get it?
Your Access Code is a 4 digit code that you create, it can be letters, numbers, or a combination of the two. It is case sensitive when used on your My Aid account. You will be asked to provide your Access Code to login to your My Aid account or when you call the Financial Aid Office. If you can not provide the correct Access Code, you will not be given any specific information.
What do I need to turn in for Financial Aid?
Any documents that you are required to submit will be listed on your My Aid Account. You will be able to see if they have been received and the date we received them.
How do I submit missing documents on My Aid?
If you are submitting copies of your missing documents, you may scan the document and email it. Photos of documents WILL NOT be accepted. Please make sure you are sending the correct document that was requested.
Why do I have loans on my account when I did not apply for them? All students are packaged with all types of Federal Aid they are eligible for, including loans and grants. If you do not need loans you may decline and/or reduce the loans to the amount you need.
How do I accept/decline my awards?
You can submit your acceptance using your e-sign number on My Aid. If you have trouble online, print a paper copy and send it to the Financial Aid Office. You may accept, decline, or modify all awards on your award letter.
I have accepted my awards. What should I do next?
If you did not accept any loans, you are finished with the financial aid process. If you accepted a loan offered on your award letter, you will need to complete an Entrance Interview and Master Promissory Note (MPN) on www.studentloans.gov.
When I try to download a .PDF form, my browser says "Please Wait...". What do I do?
Our forms have been updated to meet accessibility standards. However, some browsers don't yet support them. If you're seeing a message which says "Please Wait..." similar to the one below, then you're most likely in an unsupported browser, such as Google Chrome. Try using another browser, like Internet Explorer, or: 1) Type about:plugins in the address bar of Google Chrome, 2) Find "Chrome PDF Viewer" and click "Disable", 3) Exit Chrome and attempt to access the form.
