Digital Recordings from North Central and Northeast Louisiana

In 2003-2004 Louisiana Tech University's Center for Rural Development worked with Dr. Susan Roach, the Regional Folklorist, and Michael Rasbury, an assistant professor of theater and professional musician, to digitize a small portion of Dr. Roach's extensive collection of field tapes from North Central and Northeast Louisiana. This project was funded by a USDA-CSREES Special Research Grant.

The intent of this website is to increase the accessibility of the Louisiana Tech Regional Folklife Collection to the public for education and research purposes. These recordings are present on this site solely for educational use, and may not be distributed or sold without permission from Louisiana Tech.
