Stacy Gilbert begins her first year as the Director for Co-Curricular programs, which oversees the First-Year Experience (FYE). The First-Year Convocation and the Common Read Program are just a few of the first programs to be implemented for the FYE.
Prior to serving in her current position, Gilbert served twelve years as the Assistant Athletics Director for Academics, where graduation rates among student-athletes ranked consistently higher than the state average and regular student body.
Gilbert earned a bachelor's degree in health and physical education in 1995 and earned a master's degree in counseling and guidance in 1996, both from Louisiana Tech.
