GRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMS

The following is a list of application items to be submitted for admission to a graduate degree program.

  1. Completed on-line Graduate Application.
  2. Non-refundable processing fee - $40.00.
  3. Official degree-posted academic transcripts from all colleges/universities attended submitted to Office of the  Registrar.
  4. Satisfactory test scores:
    1. GRE - use school code 6372 (Required by the following colleges: Applied & Natural Sciences, Education, Engineering & Science, and Liberal Arts)
    2. GMAT - use school code 6372 (not more than 5 years old; Required by College of Business)
  5. Letters of Recommendation (3 recommended if required)
  6. Graduate Assistantship Application (if interested)

GRADUATE NON-DEGREE PROGRAMS

TRANSIENT NON-DEGREE

The following is a list of application items for graduate admission to the non-degree Transient category to attend Louisiana Tech for one quarter for transient students currently pursuing a degree at another university and want to enroll in coursework for transfer credit only. Students in transient status may earn a maximum of 12 semester hours. 

  1. Completed on-line Graduate Application.
  2. Non-refundable processing fee -- $40.00.
  3. Official copy of transcript certifying active pursuit of an advanced degree at another  
    institution submitted to Office of the Registrar..

LIFE-LONG LEARNING NON-DEGREE PROGRAM

The following is a list of application items for graduate admission to the Life-Long Learning non-degree category for students that do not want to pursue a degree program, but would like to enroll in coursework for graduate credit for professional development or certification.

  1. Completed on-line Graduate Application.
  2. Non-refundable processing fee -- $40.00.
  3. Official copy of a baccalaureate degree-posted transcript (submitted to Office of the Registrar) or documentation of state  teacher certification.

GRADUATE CERTIFICATE NON-DEGREE PROGRAM

The following is a list of application items for graduate admission to the Graduate Certificate non-degree category.

  1. Completed Graduate Application form.
  2. Non-refundable processing fee -- $40.00.
  3. Official copy of a baccalaureate degree-posted transcript submitted to Office of the Registrar.
