IDEA Place Grand Event

Come join The IDEA Place as we celebrate 15 years of service to Ruston and beyond at our "Grand Event," to be held at the Dixie Theater in downtown Ruston on March 12, 2009.

The IDEA Place's Grand Event will feature several guest performers including chemistry magician Dr. Bill Deese, a Louisiana Tech chemistry professor, and the A.E. Phillips Bull Pup Choir.

Punch and "birthday cake" will be served at a reception, and participants will have the opportunity to work with various interactive experiments.

Children 12 and under will be admitted free. Tickets are available for a suggested donation of $25 from The IDEA Place, the Louisiana Tech University Alumni Center, and from the Dixie Center. Faculty and Staff of the Louisiana Tech University College of Education and the media are invited to attend at no cost. 

Please join The IDEA Place at 6:30pm on March 12, 2009 at the Dixie Center for the Arts for a night of fun, exploration, and celebration of 15 years of The IDEA Place Math and Science Discovery Center.
