Sports Medicine Camp
Are you interested in being a physican, nurse, personal trainer, coach, or physical therapist? Come join us at Louisiana Tech University's Sports Medicine Camp. Campers will have the opportunity to learn about human anatomy with heart, lung, skeleton, and muscle models. The Sports Medicine Explorations will involve fun activities and will be your first step towards becoming a nurse, physician, or coach!
Campers will learn how to conduct scientific investigations
involving the human body. Campers will get to take home their skinfold calipers, heart rate monitors, and pedometers to use again in their Explorer Club! Campers will visit state-of-the-art Wellness/Medical Centers in Shreveport, Louisiana and learn how technology has changed the area of health science and sports medicine and to learn about career options. Experience LaTech College life by exercising at the Lambright Wellness Center, playing basketball in Memorial Gym, or just
relaxing at the dorm!
