Additional Requirements

Students pursuing the BGS must meet the following GPA requirements:
2.5 or above in the concentration,
2.25 or above in 300/400-level classes,
2.0 or above cumulative GPA.

Students must earn at least 45 hours of course credit at the 300/400-level (with at least 15 hours at the 400-level).

No more than 27 hours of credit from the College of Administration and Business can be applied to graduation credit for the BGS.

No more than two hours of KINE and two hours of music activity classes can be used as electives.

Students must be enrolled in the program for at least two quarters before graduating.

Please be advised that all students pursuing the Bachelor of General Studies Degree will be required to earn 25% (31 Semester Hours) of their course work offered by Louisiana Tech University. There are no exceptions to this requirement. It is in keeping with prescribed academic policy mandated by the university's governing boards-the Board of Supervisors and the Board of Regents.
