General Education Requirements

The GER courses are similar campus-wide. Students pursuing the BGS degree are required to take the following courses to meet GER mandates:

English 101 and 102 --------------------------------------------6 hrs.
Math 100/101 and 125 ------------------------------------------6 hrs.
Computer literacy ------------------------------------------------3 hrs.
Natural sciences (both biological
and physical sciences,including
an approved six-hour sequence

Arts appreciation (ART 290, KINE

Humanities
History 101, 102, 201, or 202 ---------------------------------3 hrs.

sociology, psychology, geography,
