Welcome to the website for the College of Liberal Arts. As the largest and most diverse college in the university, Liberal Arts serves students across the physical and virtual campus by providing instruction in a wide range of classes that satisfy the General Education Requirements (GER’s) and upper-level courses that satisfy the Bachelor of Arts in 12 undergraduate majors. The College comprises traditional fields in the humanities, like English, History, Modern Languages, and Speech. We also offer a Bachelor of General Studies; a Bachelor of Science with majors in Professional Aviation, Aviation Management, and Geographic Information Systems; a Bachelor of Music; and a Bachelor of Interior Design. As part of its mission within the greater university, the College is also committed to the advancement of new knowledge through research with an award-winning faculty and a rich learning environment, and offering advanced degrees, at the Master’s or Doctoral level.
Liberal Arts sponsors the majority of Study Abroad programs in the university, usually with classes taught by Tech faculty. These programs include travel to London, Madrid, Florence, Berlin, and Costa Rica. The college also supports numerous events and activities that benefit not only the students but the community at large, enhancing the quality of life for all who live in North Louisiana.
