CvEO1: To develop the skills required to design civil engineering systems and facilities, including the students' abilities to formulate problems, to think creatively, to synthesize information, and to work collaboratively in teams. CvEO3: To prepare students for life-long learning and successful careers as civil engineers. CvEO5: To develop oral and written communication skills that allow students to present information effectively. CvEO6: To instill in our students an understanding of their professional and ethical responsibilities.
Louisiana Tech Civil Engineering graduates will: CvO02 - The ability to practice civil engineering using up-to-date techniques, skills, and tools as a result of life-long learning CvO03 - An ability to formulate and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data CvO06 - An ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems CvO07 - An understanding of professional and ethical responsibility CvO08 - An ability to engage in effective oral and written communication
