Research Computers
Computers are located on the Main Floor and all other Floors for providing access to and use of the Library’s online information retrieval system. These research computers are not to be used for accessing email accounts or surfing the worldwide web.
Copiers
Self service copiers are located on both the Main Floor and the 3rd Floor. Copies are 10 cents; and, machines will accept coins, one dollar and five dollar bills.
Tech Express cards are accepted on specific copiers located on both the Main floor and the 3rd Floor.
Typewriters
Typewriters are provided by the Tech SGA for Tech student use. A valid Tech ID must be left at the Circulation Desk while using a typewriter.
Audio-Visual Room
An audio-visual room is available for use by one to three individuals. Each Tech student must sign in and leave her/his valid Tech I.D. at the Circulation Desk while using the room.
Conference Room
A conference room is available to any university-related group that is in good standing with the University and expects to host eight (8) or more individuals for any academic or education-related use during any period from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Group Study Rooms
Three group study rooms are available for use by three to eight individuals. Each Tech student must sign in and leave her/his valid Tech I.D. at the Circulation Desk while using a study room. Group study rooms are not available for regularly scheduled meetings or classes, cannot be reserved, and have no time limit on use.
Student Technology PC Lab
The Student Technology PC Lab, located on the 10th Floor, is a computer lab. Word processing, databases, and access to email and the Internet are available. The Student Technology PC Lab closes 15 minutes before the Library closes.
Lost and Found
Lost and found items are held at the circulation desk on the main floor. If identification can be found, staff will make an effort to contact the owner. Items not picked up during regular office hours will be secured until the end of the Quarter when they are turned over to University Police.
Dissertation and Thesis Binding
For a charge, the Library will assist a student in having her/his dissertation or thesis bound.
