Gather Ideas

Now that you have the broad topic in mind, begin to think about related keywords that may be helpful in gathering information:

• Check a subject encyclopedia for ideas and concepts.
  
  
• Do some exploratory searches in a business article index like ABI/Inform. Look at the abstracts or summaries of articles that interest you; they may give you ideas for topics. Also, look at their subject terms for possible keywords.
  
  
• If you need help, ask a reference librarian.
