With a diverse range of internal and external audiences in mind,
the department of marketing and public relations supports
Louisiana Tech by marketing the university's programs, educational
philosophy and research initiatives while publicizing its
accomplishments and goals. The department realizes its mission by
ensuring information is conveyed in a clear and consistent voice,
in written and spoken word as well as graphically; through
developing and maintaining a presence in the press and other media;
through multimedia efforts that incorporate the Web site; and by
generally pursuing communication that both benefits the university
as a whole and reflects its distinctive identity.
