Louisiana Tech's College of Engineering and Science has received a $5,000 educational grant from the GenCorp Foundation and Aerojet located in Camden, Ark.

The grant will be used to fund such activities as field trips, the Annual College Convocation and the college's "Today's Leaders Lectures Series."

"This is the third year that the college has received a grant from the foundation," said Dr. Paul Hale, director of industrial relations in the COES. "We appreciate the continuing support received from Aerojet and the GenCorp Foundation."

The GenCorp Foundation supports a wide array of programs with emphasis on science, technology, engineering and mathematics education.
